Wild elephant tramples woman to death in Kerala

IDUKKI: A 47-year-old woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant near Santhanpara near here on Wednesday. Police said the woman, Vimala, a plantation worker, was attacked in the morning.

"She went to the nearby cardamom plantation along with others.They were attacked by the wild elephant. It seems like the others managed to escape, but she could not," police said.
