A TikTok showing the recent "unpredictable" weather in Edinburgh has gone viral, being viewed almost 300,000 times since being posted.
The TikTok user, known by the username lindsev, posted a video which shows how the weather in the capital changed over one evening.
Taken from her bedroom window, the first of the series of short clips in the video was taken at 4.24pm, and shows blue skies with some clouds.

By 4.35pm, the clouds have become larger and darker, and the clip taken just 20 minutes later shows heavy rain falling from the sky.
At 5.10pm, the rain has cleared and some sunshine can be seen through the clouds, and by 5.28pm, skies are once again blue — with the clouds completely disappearing around an hour later.
Since being uploaded, the TikTok has received more than 42,500 likes and hundreds of comments from fellow users sharing their thoughts.
One said: "This looks so beautiful".
"Never let them know your next move," a second joked.
A third revealed: "I came up in 2019 for my Brother-in-law's wedding. I was drenched by rain but air dried by the sun within an hour."
A fourth commented: "I swear the sky looks a different blue in Edinburgh. I remember thinking that from the last time I visited. Freakin' gorgeous."
"I WAS WATCHING THIS YESTERDAY the random downpour followed by sun, wild," posted a fifth.
Meanwhile, a sixth shared: "4 season in one day. Sometimes it's sunny, raining, snowing and windy all during the same day."
