Wii Sports lives on with Nintendo Switch Sports

Remember the good old days when everyone would huddle around the TV and get far too competitive over Wii Sports? Well, prepare to relive those memories with Nintendo Switch Sports.

Announced during Wednesday’s Direct, Nintendo Switch Sports is a spiritual sequel of sorts to the Wii Sports series. Classic sports like bowling and tennis are returning, while new additions such as soccer, volleyball, and badminton will be in this iteration. There’s also chambara, one of many minigames in Wii Sports Resort.

Watch the Nintendo Switch Sports reveal trailer for yourself, then prepare to sift through countless memories of grandpa blitzing everyone at tennis via Wiimote. Hard times those were.

Meet a new iteration of the Wii Sports series, #NintendoSwitchSports! Play motion-controlled sports such as Bowling, Tennis, & Chambara as well as 3 new sports:
