The Wiggle Manchester Half Marathon is back for another year with thousands of runners set to take to the south Manchester streets.
On Sunday October 13, an estimated 15,000 runners will put their best food forward and take on the 13.1 mile route.
Now in its fourth year, the Manchester Half Marathon raises more than £15,000 for the Trafford Active Fund as well as gives up to £10,000 worth of prizes away to participants.
In addition to that, more than £800,000 is raised by those taking on the challenge for a variety of good causes.
Known for its flat route, making it the perfect event for any runners ability, the half marathon will start and finish by the city's iconic Old Trafford and avoid the city centre by taking in the southern sights of the city with a new section through Chorlton Village .

Runners will set off from the start line near the arch at White City Way before heading head south west toward Stretford and on to Sale before looping back around to finish again near to the Athlete Village at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Here's everything you need to know about this year's Wiggle Manchester Half Marathon.
Wiggle Manchester Half Marathon route map
The 13.1 mile route starts at on Chester Road close to Old Trafford. Runners will then head towards the city centre before turning back on themselves near Cornbrook.
Heading back down Chester Road, runners will go through Stretford and Sale before looping around Brooklands.
As they run back towards Old Trafford, runners will turn down Edge Lane and through Chorlton Village before ending at Old Trafford Cricket ground.

Start times
The Athlete Village at Lancashire Cricket Club opens at 7am for runners to prepare for their Sunday challenge.
At 8.55am the Wheelchair athletes will start the race then at 9am the Elite runners will begin.
All other participants will follow but event organisers warn that it may take up to 40 minutes to cross the line.
The race is expected to wrap up by 12pm and the Athlete Village and Hangout will close at 2pm.
Travel information
There is no official car parking for the event and there will be no car parks will be open at either Manchester United FC, Lancashire Cricket Club or the immediate surrounding areas.

Event organisers advice that if you are planning on driving, the best location to park would be Salford Quays which is around a 30 minute walk away from the starting line.
Travelling to the Half Marathon by Metrolink is is highly encouraged with the closest stops for the event being Old Trafford (Altrincham line), Trafford Bar (Altrincham and Didsbury lines) and Exchange Quay (Eccles and MediaCityUK lines).
Each stop is less than 10-minutes walk to and from the Athletes Village, Race Village and start area.
