Wigan Warriors extended their unbeaten league start as they clawed past Salford Red Devils 17-16.
Here are our player ratings from the game.
Bevan French - 5
Was quiet while he was on and his one moment of note in the game saw him concede a penalty from which he suffered an injury.
Went off injured midway through the first half.
Dom Manfredi - 7
Defended his edge well and produced plenty of metres for his side.
Joe Shorrocks - 6
Played out of position in the centres and though he didn't get shown up, there were a few instances where it was apparent he wasn't familiar with the role.
Jake Bibby - 7
Turning into one of the most consistent players at the club. Another solid display here doing all the small things well.
Zak Hardaker - 8
Largely Wigan's best-attacking threat on the day. Looked like creating something every time he got the ball.
Jackson Hastings - 6
Quiet by his own high standards. Dealt with Pauli Pauli as well as he could defensively.
Won the game with the drop goal.
Harry Smith - 7
Came up with a few errors but crafted Wigan's second try exceptionally well and kicked well for the vast majority.
Brad Singleton - 9
Two tries, a massive play to charge down an Escare drop goal and generally solid all game.
Sam Powell - 7
Distribution from the ruck was excellent, resulting in two Singleton tries.
But was very good defensively too.
Ethan Havard - 6
Did OK, won a few six again calls, but was part of a pack dominated in his opening stint.
John Bateman - 5
Too many errors. His pass was intercepted by Livett for Salford's opening try, then he missed the tackle that allowed Jack Wells to score the second.
Liam Farrell - 7
Solid, as ever. Scored a try and did all his work with the minimum of fuss.
Oliver Partington - 7
Pretty quiet on the day but played an hour straight. Didn't do a great deal out of the ordinary but a lot of ugly stuff for his team.
Liam Byrne - 5
A few errors down the middle after coming off the bench.
Joe Bullock - 5
Started the game with a knock-on and then a penalty. Improved, but needed to do better at a time when Wigan were struggling.
Mitch Clark - 6
Managed to steady the ship when he came on the field. Got through a fair amount of work and played more minutes than most of the other front rowers.
Kai Pearce-Paul - 6
Promising performance. Played a few different positions and put in a massive shot in the second half.
Will get a few more opportunities soon, you'd suspect.
