Bevan French – Moved back into the full-back role and took the chance to keep the shirt with a great display. Was key to changing the game first half but impressed in defence too. 8 (starman)
Dominic Manfredi – Could have had a hat-trick and did everything right when given the ball, but saw less of it second half. 6
Willie Isa – Guilty of errors in attack and was quite for long periods when Wigan were in possession. 6
Jake Bibby – Kept quiet, the centre hardly had a look in during the game until scoring twice in the second half. 6
Zak Hardaker – Having picked up the player of the month award he was shifted to the wing and his impact was obviously drastically reduced. 6
Harry Smith – One of many to star slow but his influence grew in the game, even if his kicking remained off. 6
Jackson Hastings – Found his feet after a rocky start and took it upon himself to turn the game with great ball movement which tired the Leigh defence. 8
Brad Singleton – Came up with some huge hits in defence but a slow start could have been costly. 6
Sam Powell – As industrious as ever, his work around the ruck was key . 7
Oliver Partington – Started the game very well and was the real standout in a poor opening 20 minutes. 7
John Bateman – There were flashes, but not enough of them. 6
Liam Farrell – A typical Farrell try started the second half as he ran a great line to score. Worked hard throughout. 7
Morgan Smithies – Hobbled off the field with an ankle injury after an incident which went on report. 6

Liam Byrne – Came on with Wigan trailing by 10 points and brought energy and enthusiasm. 6
Mitch Clark – A great run dragging the Leigh defence 20 metres set up Bevan French’s try as Wigan came back. 6
Ethan Havard – A good game from the 20-year-old forward who outshone many senior stars. 7
Joseph Shorrocks – Did what was asked by coming on and helping lift the team in the second half. 6
