Wigan Warriors launch new alternative strip that will catch the eyes of supporters

Wigan Warriors have revealed their new alternative kit for the season, and fans will be able to get hands on it straight away.

The club has moved quickly to add new merchandise to its range after record-breaking retail sales, the aftermath of the club's recent rebrand. They are currently enjoying their best retail sales in a decade.

The purple number will be worn for the first time when Adrian Lam's side take on Leeds Rhinos next week.

Wigan Warriors executive director, Kris Radlinski, said: “Following strong sales of our 2021 home and away kits, we are delighted to launch our striking alternative kit.

“The kit will be worn for several matches throughout the season, starting with next Thursday’s game against Leeds and including our Dacia Magic Weekend fixture against Warrington in September.

“Purple has traditionally been a popular choice amongst Wigan fans, so we look forward to seeing plenty of these shirts within the stands as crowds return later this season.”

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed plans to reopen the Robin Park story on Monday, April 12th, when non-essential shops are permitted to do so as part of the UK government's current relaxation of restrictions.

In the meantime, fans can purchase the new kit, as well as any other merch, via the club's official store.
