Wigan Warriors have untold secrets in their locker ahead of Hull FC reunion

Adrian Lam believes Wigan have a few tricks up their sleeve for Hull FC as they prepare for a second clash against the Black and Whites in as many weeks.

The two teams will lock horns again after a controversial and fiesty game last week, one the Warriors prevailed in by two points.

That ended the unbeaten start of Hull under Brett Hodgson, who are now looking to avenge that loss in a repeat of the 2017 Challenge Cup Final.

Lam is under no illusions that a tough game awaits, but teased a change of tact to keep the Black and Whites on their toes.

"We've had a plan about the timing of it all," Lam said.

"The rugby we want to be playing and four weeks out we know who the opposition is and you know it's back to back games.

"That always keeps you ticking over because there's a bit of strategy, resting players, thoughts around not showing your hand on the first week.

"I think it's going to be an aggressive game of rugby league.

"We're expecting a tough, physical game of rugby league and we're prepared to knuckle down and do what it takes to be successful. We've probably got the toughest game of the draw, I think both clubs would admit that.

"We're looking forward to the challenge, it's not at home or at Hull, we've played a lot of games at Leeds, it's like our second home, so we're classing it as a home game.

"We're working hard on trying to improve every week and this is another chance for us to stand up in the biggest game of the year."

Lam also warned that there's more to come from his side, despite starting the season with six wins from six.

"I think even though we have been winning, some of our better players are yet to find their best form yet, which is promising.

"We're at a stage where there's a good base of fitness in every player, the cobwebs are washed off so let's hope we can pick up some more form starting from this week."
