Wigan Warriors forward Willie Isa has been handed a two-match suspension by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel.
Isa was charged with a Grade C dangerous throw during Wigan's defeat to St Helens on Sunday evening, an offence which saw the forward sin-binned in the early stages of the second half.
However, that has not been deemed sufficient enough punishment by the panel, who have handed Isa a suspension of two games, ruling him out of the Warriors' back-to-back meetings with Huddersfield Giants on Sunday and a week on Friday.
There is better news for Wigan elsewhere though, with youngster Kai Pearce-Paul avoiding a suspension despite being sin-binned himself. Pearce-Paul was shown a yellow card following a late challenge on Lachlan Coote in the first half of Sunday's derby.
But he has been given a caution - as has Wigan team-mate Harry Smith for the same charge.
Isa was the only player suspended from this week's meeting of the disciplinary panel in Super League. The only other player charged was Warrington's Stefan Ratchford, but his Grade A dangerous contact notice did not result in a suspension.
