Wigan Warriors field debutant as Adrian Lam makes five changes for Wakefield Trinity game

Brad O’Neill will make his Super League debut off the bench in a much-changed Wigan Warriors team to face Wakefield Trinity.

The teenager, who can play at hooker or loose forward, is one of five changes to the side that lost to Hull KR last time out.

Morgan Smithies comes back into the team to start in the second row alongside Kai Pearce-Paul, with Mitch Clark taking his place on the bench after returning from his loan spell at Newcastle Thunder.

James McDonnell and Umyla Hanley team up on the left edge, while Ethan Havard starts at prop in the absence of the suspended Brad Singleton.

Liam Marshall is the latest player to be used at full-back with Jackson Hastings on international duty with the Combined Nations All Stars.

The Warriors are also without John Bateman, Liam Farrell and Oliver Gildart.

Wakefield: Max Jowitt, Lee Kershaw, Joe Arundel, Innes Senior, Tom Johnstone, Ryan Hampshire, Mason Lino, Tinirau Arona, Brad Walker, Eddie Battye, Jay Pitts, Matty Ashurst, Jordy Crowther.
