Wigan Warriors coach Adrian Lam resists temptation to change for Salford Red Devils clash

Wigan Warriors’ coach Adrian Lam will go with the same 21-man squad from which he selected the winning team against Leigh Centurions on Monday night for the trip to the AJ Bell Stadium to face Salford on Saturday (1pm).

That means that Wigan, who have six wins from as many Super League matches this season, are still without club skipper Thomas Leuluai due to a sternum injury, while Oliver Gildart is still awaiting his first appearance of the campaign due to a groin problem.

Jai Field remains sidelined due to a hamstring injury sustained in the first match of the season against Leigh, while Liam Marshall is another longer-term casualty who is still on the way back to fitness following an ACL injury suffered last September.

Tony Clubb is the only disciplinary absentee as he serves the third of his eight-match suspension for his Grade F charge of unacceptable language based on national or ethnic origin.

Full 21-man squad: 1. Bevan French; 2. Dom Manfredi; 3. Zak Hardaker; 8. Brad Singleton; 9. Sam Powell; 10. Joe Bullock; 11. Willie Isa; 12. Liam Farrell; 13. John Bateman; 14. Oliver Partington; 15. Morgan Smithies; 19. Liam Byrne; 20. Harry Smith; 21. Ethan Havard; 22. Jake Bibby; 23. Mitch Clark; 25. Joe Shorrocks; 27. Kai Pearce-Paul; 28. Sam Halsall; 30. Umyla Hanley; 31. Jackson Hastings.
