Wigan Warriors have suspended training for ten days following an outbreak of Covid-19.
The club's latest round of testing on Monday saw the club record numerous positive tests.
As a result, last year's Grand Finalists have closed Robin park for a ten-day period in the hope of removing the virus from within the group.
The Warriors are the latest club forced to suspend training during pre-season. Leeds Rhinos and Huddersfield Giants have also been forced to bring a halt to training after outbreaks.
Those who have tested positive will self-isolate for at least ten days, as well as those identified on track and trace.
The club says further testing will take place on Friday as well as the 17th of February.
Public Health England have been informed as a result.
Super League has started using lateral flow testing equipment, which provides rapid-fire results following a test. A result is normally with people within 15 minutes.
Players wait in their cars for their results before being allowed into the facility.
Robin Park will now undergo a deep clean before players return next week.
