A post by Swedish international footballer Emil Forsberg's wife sparked uproar after she criticized the club's management for keeping her husband on the bench.
The angry wife wrote on Instagram: "No one on this planet is allowed to treat anyone like s***. Do not forget that," and tagged her husband in the post, the German news agency reported.
The wife wrote the caption after the key Bundesliga game between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig on Sunday evening, which ended in a draw.
Leipzig's manager kept Forsberg on the bench during the match, although he had scored a goal during the game that took place in the first round with the same team.
The participation of Forsberg, 28, in the second round of the league went unnoticed since his team acquired peer Dani Olmo in the winter transfer window.
The Swede had repeatedly said he wants to leave Leipzig, so it would not be surprising if we see him out of the team he joined from Malmo FF in 2015.
