Wife of Bills kicker furious at Jets DE Henry Anderson: ‘Guys like this do not belong’ in NFL

Jets defensive end Henry Anderson has made an enemy off the field: the wife of Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka.

That’s because Anderson put a blindside hit on Hauschka after a blocked field goal in a game last season that resulted in Hauschka suffering a hip injury. Lindsey Hauschka was not pleased with that hit and took to Twitter last season to voice her displeasure.

“This is everything that’s wrong with football,” Lindsey Hauschka tweeted at the time.

Fast forward to last Sunday’s game against the Bills. Anderson was involved in a few plays that could be considered dirty. On the final play in the video below, Anderson took an undisputably cheap shot at Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen. Allen clearly had released the football well before Anderson took the the QB’s legs out from under him.

That once again drew the attention of Lindsey Hauschka, who called Anderson an “embarrassment” and insisted that plays and players like him have no place in the NFL.

Anderson isn’t particularly known as a violent player but has now had a few run-ins with the Bills.

It’s easy to see why Lindsey Hauschka would prefer Anderson out of the league entirely. That won’t happen, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Anderson ends up getting fined for going after Allen.
