Wife of Amanda Owen's new lover 'upset and lonely' after finding love letter

The heartbroken wife of Amanda Owen's alleged new lover has been left "completely blindsided" following reports he left her for the TV star, new sources have claimed.

Amanda, who starred in Our Yorkshire Farm, has reportedly become "inseparable" from her new man after she split from her husband of 21 years.

The 48-year-old is said to have built a new romance with businessman Robert Davies, 71, after her shock split from co-star husband Clive last year.

Amanda and ex-partner Clive share nine children together but it has now been rumoured she has moved on with businessman Robert, who she has known for five years.

The mum-of-nine is said to be thriving in her new relationship according to reports in The Mirror despite having yet to publicly confirm or deny the rumours surrounding her love life.

Amanda hired web designer Robert Davies to launch a website to promote her work after she shot to fame four years ago.

But Mr Davies' wife Yusami, 56, is said to have been left in shock after Robert walked out of the family home and ended their 12-year marriage after confessing to the affair with Amanda.

Yusami's friends claim she discovered the relationship last year when she found a love letter to her husband while she was cleaning out his car.

A source close to Yusami told Mail Online: "She is absolutely heartbroken by what's happened. She can't believe it. She gave up a career in banking after meeting Rob in Tokyo and he persuaded her to leave all of her family and friends in Japan to start a new life with him in the UK.

"Now he has left her on her own to start a new relationship with Amanda. She is so upset and lonely."

Amanda and her rumoured new lover have known each other for at least five years and their friendship is believed to have blossomed through working closely together - something which Yusami had reportedly been uncomfortable with.

"Yasumi suspected for some time that Robert was up to something. She felt as if he wasn't really present around her and that his head was somewhere else.

"She was cleaning out the car and she found a handwritten note. There was no name but it was pretty clear who it was from. Yasumi asked Rob for an explanation and he said he had fallen in love with Amanda and that they had been seeing each other for five years," the source added.

Amanda, 48, and her ex-husband Clive, 68, were married for 21 years and have nine children but announced they were separating last June.

At the time, Amanda and Clive released a joint statement which read: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority being the happiness and well-being of our children."

Speaking to the Radio Times recently Amanda said: "Look, there are two simple facts: if he thought I was brilliant, and I thought he was brilliant, then we wouldn't have separated.

"It's a fact, isn't it? But, you know what, that's not unique, it's just how things are, pressures, all the rest of it. But we have nine kids, with associated friends, girlfriends, and we just have to get on with it."

The Mirror has contacted Amanda's representatives for comment on this story.
