Wife left red-faced as mum-in-law points out X-rated detail in birthday banner

A woman was left horrified after she mistakenly sent an X-rated snap to her mother-in-law.

Mum blogger, Laura Belbin is best known for her hilariously relatable recreations of models fashion pictures.

But it's her Home Bargains shopping blunder that's got us all laughing this time.

The mum-of-two bought a banner from the store for her husband Steve's birthday - but it was only after she sent a picture of it to his mum that she realised her awful mistake.

Talking of the banner she said: "We're just going to ignore the fact that it's a bit deflated.

"We're just going to focus on the G."

Now you're probably thinking, 'Happy Birthday' doesn't have a 'G' in it? But this banner does...

Laura then panned the camera around to the sign, which read "Happy Girthday".

But it gets worse.

Before she spotted the spelling blunder, she sent a snap of Steve and their kids standing beneath the sign to her mother-in-law.

Her mum replied, "Oh, Laura, Happy Girthday… are you referring to how wide his penis is?"

Laura was mortified when she realised what she'd sent.

She replied: "No! It was supposed to be a 'b'!"

She took to Instagram to share her funny mistake with her 437,000 followers.

She wrote: "Home Bargains. You have let me down.

"You allowed my mother to believe I purchased a f***ing balloon set for my husband - which by the way is as easily blown up as a squirrel blowing it up - half of them deflated within 40 seconds… Only to leave it looking like a G…"

She continued: "Happy Girthday. That's right Steve, I want to celebrate the day that you were birthed onto this planet, with the width of your penis.

"Just so you know, it's not exponentially large.

"Certainly not large enough that I would want to get a f***ing balloon set to celebrate it!"
