Wife 'killed by husband' before he 'plunged 100ft to his death from car park'

This is the first picture of a woman who was found dead at her home in a suspected murder-suicide shortly after a man plunged more than 100ft to his death.

The woman was named by police as 57-year-old Kerry Bradford.

It is thought that her husband killed her before he fell to his death at a car park in Newport city centre in South Wales at about 4.40pm on Sunday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is not being treated as suspicious, WalesOnline reported.

About 90 minutes later, Ms Bradford's body was discovered when police liaison officers visited a home about three miles away during the investigation into the man's death.

"57-year-old Kerry Bradford was found deceased at an address in Monnow Way at about 6.15pm on Sunday, April 25.

"The death is being treated as suspicious, specialist officers are continuing to support the family and our thoughts remain with them.

"At this time we are not looking for anyone else in connection with her death, which is being linked to another death on Sunday afternoon.

"It has come as a shock to the whole community. It's just awful news and my thoughts and sympathies are with the family left behind."
