Wife 'gunned down' by Scots husband pictured in shooting range day out weeks before death

A woman 'shot dead' by her Scots husband shared pictures of their day out at a shooting range just weeks before her tragic death.

Wayne Fraser, originally from Aberdeen, has been charged with allegedly shooting his disabled wife Natalie Ryan-Fraser in an apartment he was renting in Mississippi.

Natalie shared photos of the pair at San Angelo Gun Club on November 28 - just four weeks before her death on December 30.

The images, posted on social media, show Wayne, 45, crouched down wearing a red top and dark jeans as he aims at a shooting target.

Natalie, who used a wheelchair, also posed for a selfie next to a gun and some ammunition and shared an image bullet holes through a target.

The photos were captioned "Retail therapy is overrated" with gun emojis and "pew pew".

Fraser moved stateside when he married the 55-year-old.

He is alleged to have killed Natalie at a rented flat he was living in while working away from their home in San Angelo, Texas.

It is understood Natalie was found dead around 8am on Thursday at the property on Cedar Street, Caledonia, Mississippi, after police were alerted to gun shots.

Fraser was arrested at the scene and is now being held at Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.

University instructor Natalie was pronounced dead by police officers on arrival.

Paying tribute to her on social media, brother Kristopher said: "This just doesn’t seem real. She will be dearly missed.

"She was always there for me and Kory after mom died. This is just so difficult to swallow.

"She was definitely one of a kind. Just such a senseless tragedy."

US media reports that investigations are currently in the "preliminary stages".
