There's nothing that can quite prepare you for losing a partner of more than six decades, and like many widows, 94-year-old Keith Davidson found himself growing increasingly lonely after the death of his beloved wife in April 2016.
After spending many hour staring at the inside wall of the home they shared for 66 years as a married couple, Keith decided the best way to combat his loneliness would be to reach out to his local community.
So, the OAP decided to build a community pool in his expansive back garden, which any of his neighbours were welcome to use whenever they like - and they've been flocking over there ever since.
"I knew they would come," Keith told Boyd Huppert's Land of 10,000 Stories, as he laughed and looked onto the thirty-two feet long, sixteen feet wide, and 9 feet deep pool, which was now filled with youngsters and their families.

What had become a sad, quiet and lonely place for the retired district court judge had become a bustling oasis, filled with laughter and happiness for not only him, but his community too.
"I'm not sitting by myself looking at the walls," he explained. "What else would you think of doing where you could have a whole bunch of kids over every afternoon?"
One of Keith's excited neighbours joked, "Now we're going to be here everyday!"
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the pool and Keith only has one rule: Any kids must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent, but you can't really say fairer than that, can you?
What an amazing way to bring the community together while also getting a little bit of extra company.
