There is widespread issues on Wales' rail network today due to "resourcing availability".

This is likely to have a significant impact around the capital as fans travel in for the Cardiff City game against Bournemouth at 3pm.

In a statement a Transport for Wales spokeswoman said: "Due to resourcing availability, there is extensive alterations and cancelations for Saturday, September 18, please check before you travel."

According to the statement it is the areas around the capital which will be particularly affected.

The statement added: "Passengers are advised that Cardiff Valley Lines services that are running are expected to be very busy. Replacement Road transport is proving difficult to source, and is extremely limited. Ticket acceptance is in place with Stagecoach and Cardiff Bus over relevant routes.
