Three armed robberies were reported June 28, 2019, in Wicker Park on the North Side.

Wicker Park residents are on alert after three armed robberies were reported within 10 minutes Friday in the North Side neighborhood.

The robberies were reported between 1:35 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. in the 2200 and 1700 blocks of West LeMoyne Street and the 1600 block of North Winchester Avenue, Chicago police said.

In each incident, two males showed a handgun and took property from the victims, police said, before fleeing in a possibly gray or silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo or Impala.

One of the suspects was described as a male standing between 5 feet, 1 inch and 5 feet, 4 inches and wearing a black hoodie and mask, police said. The other was described as a 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 male wearing glasses and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
