- E-bike rental company Lime , which commissioned the survey, suggests cycling offers a practical, low-cost alternative, also noting that Tube strikes encourage its use.
- This trend coincides with UK inflation falling for the first time this year in April, from 3.3 per cent to 2.8 per cent, primarily due to government measures to lower energy costs.
