Why you need to take a colouring-in break

Struggling to WFH? Take a colouring-in break: psychologists agree that the meditative activity can soothe stressed minds. Not to mention create some colourful artwork you can stick in your window — or use to peacock on Instagram.

Which, incidentally, is a good place to start. Coroheroes shares bold, typographic posters in support of the NHS and other key workers, for printing and colouring (or cheat and print the coloured-in version). Stick it up in your window to show our key workers you’re thinking of them(@coroheroes, coroheroes.org).

Rainbow touch: print out and colour your own message for key workers

Together Gallery has commissioned colouring-in sheets from illustrators: download one from their website, print it and bring their worlds to life at your kitchen table (@togethergallery, togethergallery.co).

Make It In Design has stylised colouring-in sheets on its encyclopaedic website. Register for free pictures of butterflies, busy gardens and stately cats, ready for your rainbow touch (makeitindesign.com).
