Why was Tom Cruise at the England vs Italy final? How old is he?

Fans were stunned when they spotted a very famous face in the crowd at Wembley.

Supporters cheering on the Three Lions in the final spotted Hollywood royalty Tom Cruise seated next to none other than David Beckham.

The camera picked out Manchester United and England icon Beckham fist bump with the Mission Impossible star.

And the BBC commentator quipped "a few good men there" in a reference to his 1992 legal drama film.

"Crazy that @TomCruise is even there," said one fan.

Others remarked how it was a busy day for Tom, who earlier was in his sharp navy suit and pale blue tie as he watched Novak Djokovic take on Matteo Berrettini in the Men's Singles final at Wimbledon.

"Mission impossible," commented one fan on Twitter.

"Tom Cruise was at the men’s singles final at Wimbledon and now the Euros finals at Wembley.

"He’s literally living the best stag do weekend ever," said another.

Other fans flocked to comment how Tom, 59, was 'looking good' as he enjoyed the match.

The two stars, separated by empty seat between them, were visibly ecstatic after Manchester United's Luke Shaw scored a goal just two minutes into the match against Italy.

The camera zoomed in on the pair who grinned as they knocked knuckles.

"Really sweet that even after all these years Tom Cruise still gets an empty seat next to him for Goose. #ENGITA," said another fan in reference to another of his famous films Top Gun.

Tom was at the match as a high-profile England supporter.

England captain Harry Kane received a call of support from their A-list fan on Friday night as he prepared to England into their first major final in 55 years at Wembley and land their first European Championship title.

“We actually had Tom Cruise get in touch yesterday evening, you get everyone who loves football," he told BBC Radio 5Live.

“The majority of people in the world love football, so it’s great to have all that support not just in England but across the world, so it’s been a great time for all of us, we’ve enjoyed every moment of it so we’re just looking forward to hopefully finishing the job.

“Yes, we were fortunate enough to watch one of his films so I think he was over here in the UK and he just dialled in and FaceTimed us just to wish us the best as a group so that was nice of him.

“I’m not sure if he will be there at the final or not but football is such a big part of the world and it’s nice to have that support from all different types of businesses I guess.”
