The Minnesota Vikings have selected NC State OC Garrett Bradbury with the 18th overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.
This is a home run pick. Bradbury is an elite athlete for an offensive lineman and it is rare to see a guy who can do what he does. The former tight end is an elite zone blocker who moves his hips well and drives players out of holes. He is a stellar pass protector as well as he has an excellent ability to re- anchor his body and control blocks.
There is some concern with his play strength but overall he is a stellar prospect with insane upside.
For the Vikings, taking the chance on Bradbury could turn out to be quite beneficial. This is an excellent selection for the Vikings and the pick they’ve needed for years. The Vikings have struggled blocking up front for multiple years now and Bradbury is a great player to turn it around. With his athleticism and anchoring ability, he should be an excellent center for them. This guy has all pro ability up front.
