A number of fans took to social media on Friday night to question why Up for the Match was not on ahead of the All-Ireland final.
Mayo and Tyrone clash in Saturday's decider at Croke Park, with over 40,000 fans set to be in attendance.
Up for the Match has become part of All-Ireland final weekends over the years, but it has not taken place since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Presenter Jacqui Hurley told RSVP Live last month: "We didn’t have Up for the Match last year and there will be no fans allowed in the studio again this year. The show doesn’t work without fans."
Jacqui loved working beside her co-presenter Des Cahill in 2019.
She added: "I had such a great time the previous year and I loved it. I loved working with Des, he is a great pal of mine.
"We like the same things and we like having a bit of craic.
"Missing out on working with Des is always disappointing because there is no doubt about it, he is one of the legends of Irish broadcasting. I hope we will get to do it again but I doubt it will happen again until we can get fans into the studio."
Many will be hoping that the show returns in 2022.
