Thomas Tuchel slammed the "terrible decision" not to flag Cristiano Ronaldo offside in stoppage time of Manchester United's draw with Chelsea.
Ronaldo broke clear down the left for United as the clock ticked down, but he looked to be clearly offside. The flag didn't go up and United won a corner, which was only cleared for an attacking throw-in.
Although nothing came of the set-piece it was a dangerous moment for United and TV replays showed Ronaldo had been well offside.
Tuchel was furious the flag didn't go up, howling in protest and focusing his ire on fourth official David Coote. His protests were so strong that Coote called over referee Anthony Taylor and he showed Tuchel the yellow card.
"In the end I’m the guy who gets a yellow card, but I mean, everyone tells me we go for clear offside and this is a clear offside," the Chelsea boss explained.
"Later we have to defend a dangerous corner and the second ball from the set-piece, you can lose games like this. Everybody sees it, it’s a terrible decision."
Tuchel was happy with his teams performance, despite only earning a share of the points at Stamford Bridge, with Jorginho's penalty cancelling out Jadon Sancho's opener early in the second half.
"If you watch this match it’s hard to imagine you can [not win] it, but it’s dropped points, we were the better team and the team who set the rhythm and intensity," he said.
"We’re disappointed but we have no regrets, this can happen in football. It doesn't feel good when it happens but it’s like this. I trust the team and I’m happy with the performance and the way we played."
