Crowds have watched Pink fly through the air, seen Take That quite literally set fire to the stage and sang along to Mr Brightside with The Killers.
Over the years the Liberty Stadium has hosted a feast of legendary concerts.
However, this year, Swansea crowds will be missing out as there are no big performances set for the stadium due to renovation plans.
Much like Glastonbury Festival’s ‘fallow year’ in 2018, the Swansea stadium will be taking a year off from hosting big concerts this year so it can completely renew the pitch in an £550,000 investment .
As the home to Swansea City and the Ospreys, the pitch’s turf has been removed and in its place is a mass of sand.
“While the playing surface is renewed every year at a cost of around £30,000, the club is going one major step further and renewing to base level for the first time since the stadium opened in 2005,” said grounds manager Anthony Harry.

Due to the timescale of the renovations, organisers have confirmed that the stadium will be taking a break from any big gigs this summer.
The renovation work is scheduled to be ongoing until August in time for the Swans' new season and new manager.
Quiet periods in the sports calender suggested that the months of June and July would be the best time for work on the pitch - out of season for both the Swans and Ospreys.
Unfortunately for music fans this has meant that the stadium's acclaimed concerts have missed their busiest time of the year.
The story is very different an hour up the M4 in Cardiff where music fans have been treated to a plethora of gigs in arguably their busiest year yet.
The Spice Girls , Take That and Pink have all made appearances at the Principality Stadium and Elton John at Cardiff City Stadium and there are more gigs scheduled for the summer.
But Swansea fans won't be completely hard done by as Singleton Park is set to welcome artists Jess Glynne and the Stereophonics this July.
And its business back to usual at the Liberty Stadium next summer with plans already in the pipeline.
A spokesperson for the stadium says: "The club is currently talking to a number of promoters with the aim of announcing an exciting programme of concerts at the Liberty Stadium next summer."
