There were a few missing from Chelsea's pre-season squad against Kawasaki Frontale this morning.
Tammy Abraham, Kepa Arrizabalaga and N'Golo Kante were not named in the squad for the match in Yokohama, however Christian Pulisic was on the bench for the game in Japan.
The Blues are looking to step up their fitness levels and the intensity as the pre-season goes on, with this being the third game of the campaign for the club.
Abraham was not in squad after missing training yesterday as he was strugglng with an illness, which football.london understands is the same reason for why Kepa was also not in the team.
The Spaniard is yet to feature this summer during pre-season having not played in either of the matches in Ireland, but is expected to be back in time for Barcelona next Tuesday in Saitama.
Kante, meanwhile, is also not in the squad as his recovery from injury continues throughout the pre-season and Frank Lampard is not keen to rush him back.
Assistant boss Jody Morris told ChelseaTV: "Well it won't be as many as that, purely on the fact that you are not allowed to make as many as that for some reason.
"It won't be as many substitutions but it is time to extend some of the minutes beyond 45 for a few. But we will have to see how the game goes, because we haven't played in this humidity this pre-season. We have to extend a few minutes."
Chelsea fans will be excited to see Pulisic coming into the side, with the American likely to get some minutes throughout the game out in the Far East.
They have one more match next week before they return home and face Reading, RB Salzburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.
