Why Swansea City's Borja Baston is wearing a scrum cap vs Huddersfield Town

Borja Baston was given the nod to start for Swansea City in their Championship clash with Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.

It was the Spaniard’s first start since the 3-0 loss to Brentford.

And fans quickly noticed something a little different about the forward in Yorkshire.

During the warm-up at the John Smith’s Stadium, the 27-year-old was seen wearing a scrum cap typically used by the likes of Justin Tipuric.

And he wore the cap during the clash with the Terriers.

It comes after the striker suffered a nasty knock to the head after coming off the bench during the 1-0 defeat to Millwall at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Borja required treatment on the sidelines during that clash with the Lions, and as a precautionary measure, he wore a scrum cap on his head for the game in Huddersfield.

Borja will be aiming to add to his tally of six goals for the campaign against Danny Cowley’s men.
