Why support for Reform has slumped – and who benefits from it most

  • A new More in Common poll reveals a five-point drop in support for Reform UK, placing them at 25 per cent.
  • The Conservative Party has seen a three-point increase, reaching 22 per cent, thereby narrowing the gap with Reform UK.
  • This represents Reform UK's lowest share in a More in Common poll since April last year, and Nigel Farage's personal approval rating has also fallen to its worst since the last election.
  • The decline in support is consistent with findings from other pollsters and has prompted concerns among some Reform insiders regarding the influence of Rupert Lowe’s new party, Restore UK.
  • Despite the national dip, Reform UK is projected to maintain strong support in certain regions, with a JL Partners MRP poll predicting they will be the second-largest party in Wales's upcoming local elections.
