With Newcastle sealing safety, I would love to see Liverpool win the title because I'm sick of people saying, 'The only ship that's never sailed out of Liverpool is the Premiership'. If I had a pound for everyone that said that!
I always sit on the fence when they play each other, but I would just love to see Liverpool do it in this particular instance next month. I've said before if it meant life and death and Newcastle staying up, I'd want Newcastle to win.
I can't lose, can I? If Newcastle win, it's great for the fans but I just want Liverpool to win that league. It's been unbelievable the turnaround in points from last season. They were 16 points behind Man City and everyone was saying Spurs and Chelsea would challenge this season.
But, to be fair to them, they have stuck to the challenge, closed that gap and they have led on numerous occasions as well this season so fingers crossed. I'm just hoping that ship will sail on May 12!
Rafa is a professional at the end of the day - he will make it as difficult as he can for not just Liverpool but any team to break Newcastle down.
The next three games are important. It's like playing with the handbrake off now. Let the players express themselves and enjoy themselves.
The pressure's off and this is the time for the fans to see them play some lovely football, score some goals, hopefully get some wins and maybe see one or two players they have not seen maybe get an opportunity for the future.
That would be my wish for the next three games and let everyone enjoy the party atmosphere.
