- A 28-year-old man, initially arrested in Rotherham on Saturday on suspicion of murder, has since been re-arrested on suspicion of commissioning, preparing, or instigating acts of terrorism.
- Home secretary Shabana Mahmood confirmed to the Commons that the arrested individual was not known to the Prevent counter-terrorism programme.
