Why Paul Pogba wants to leave Manchester United this summer

Paul Pogba's brother Mathias has explained why the midfielder wants to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, stating the World Cup winner wants to play in the Champions League and win trophies.

Pogba has missed the majority of the season through injury but has never been too far from the headlines, with his agent Mino Raiola sparking a new war of words this week.

Speculation surrounding the 26-year-old's future has persisted for some time and it is no secret that the former Juventus midfielder is looking to leave Old Trafford for the second time in his career.

Mathias has now provided a fresh angle to the Pogba saga, with a damning verdict declaring that 'we all know' United won't win trophies or play in the Champions League.

"Everyone knows that Paul wants to leave Manchester United, he wants to play Champions League football and win titles," he told El Chiringuito TV.

"We all know that won't happen at United. We will see what happens this summer."

A return to Juventus has been mooted and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a long-term admirer of Pogba.
