Paul Pogba is back in the Manchester United side and raring to go after being granted 90 minutes off against Southampton in midweek.
The midfielder starts ahead of Fred in the only change to the side that thrashed Saints 9-0 on Tuesday night, with Edinson Cavani fit enough to start after limping off at half-time in midweek.
Pogba was always likely to come back in after his rest in the week, while Solskjaer wants Cavani to show his energy and pressing with his side looking to make a fast start against the Toffees.
“It got swollen his [Cavani's] ankle but it’s important on a day like this when we want to press, start on the front foot and Edinson is vital for us there," Solskjaer told MUTV. "Paul has been excellent the last couple of months, he had his well-earned rest against Southampton and now he’s ready to go again."
United will try to avoid a case of after the Lord Mayor's show tonight, having been in such scintillating form against Saints.
Asked how you can follow that up, Solskjaer referenced the Under-23s' thrilling 6-4 win against Blackburn at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night.
“Just by trying to do the right things, play as a Man United player, play with no fear, play with courage, like we saw the kids do last night," he said.
There will be a minute's silence before kick-off as United mark the 63rd anniversary of the Munich air disaster.
“For us it’s about honouring them, put a performance out there and that reflects the spirit of Manchester United and that team," said Solskjaer.
