With the No. 8 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, the Carolina Panthers selected cornerback Jaycee Horn out of South Carolina.
Horn exploded with 2 interceptions and 6 pass deflections in just seven games in 2020. A lengthy and physical boundary cornerback, he does a great job of jamming receivers at the line of scrimmage and using his hands to fight through a receiver’s stems.
He also showcases very good fluidity on tape, as well as the ball skills needed to contort himself towards the ball and box out the opposition at the catch point.
