Tottenham head coach Nuno Espirito Santo will be desperate to beat Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
The Portuguese coach has endured a rollercoaster start to his Spurs managerial career, recording five defeats and four losses from his first nine Premier League games.
Similarly, United have been inconsistent so far this season, sitting one point behind the Lilywhites after suffering an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend.
Both teams could have the chance to climb back into the top four given fourth-placed West Ham United don't play until Sunday afternoon, meaning Saturday's encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a must-win for both sides.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side clinched all three points in north London last season, securing a 3-1 win in a fiery affair that saw six players booked.
However, Spurs midfielder Oliver Skipp will be hoping that today's match will be less feisty considering he is one yellow card away from a one-match league suspension.
Skipp has already accumulated four bookings this season, the joint second-most in the English top-flight and the former Norwich City loanee will be treading lightly against the Red Devils in order to avoid missing next week's trip to face Everton.
The England Under-21 international has been one of Tottenham's best players this term, registering 35 progressive passes, 13 interceptions and 18 tackles in the league already.
Skipp has attributed much of his fine form to Espirito Santo, claiming that the former Wolves boss has helped improve his positioning on the pitch.
"First and foremost the trust he has given me to play a lot of minutes so far but also I feel he is very concise with his instructions on the training field," he told football.london earlier this month.
"I feel a lot of his work is done on the training field whereas perhaps other managers may be more video related, but I think there is things definitely added to my game, for example trying to stay a bit more central, for turnovers when we lose the ball I am the shield for the defence.
"Just little things like that, my positioning, he is a manager that I can definitely learn off and improve my game."
