Why Nottingham Forest's trip to Brentford has been re-arranged

Nottingham Forest's Championship trip to be Brentford has been re-arranged.

The Reds were set to go to Griffin Park on Saturday January 25, however, the fixture will now take place on Tuesday, January 28 (kick-off 7.45pm).

The move comes as result of Brentford's progress in the FA Cup. They beat Stoke in round three and will now face Leicester City in the fourth round.

The game is set to be Forest's last at Griffin Park as the Bees prepare to move to a new 17,500 capacity stadium next season.

Ticket details for the fixture will be confirmed in due course, Forest have announced.

Brentford are currently in fine form as they climb to third in the Championship, above fourth placed Forest on goal difference.

The Bees have won five of their last seven games in all competitions.
