Why Nottingham Forest fans will hope ex-Leeds United man's prediction form improves

Nottingham Forest have lost twice as many Championship games in their last two outings as they did in their previous 11.

Having had the chance to move top of the table last weekend as they headed to Wigan Athletic, Forest now sit eighth in the division after back-to-back losses against the Latics and Hull City.

Still, Sabri Lamouchi's side are well placed after 13 League matches - and Sky Sports pundit David Prutton is backing them to return to winning ways at the expense of Reading tomorrow (Saturday).

While Forest's aim will be to break back into the top six by the end of play on Saturday, Mark Bowen's Royals are only four points above the drop zone - although they have taken four points from their last two matches, including a win over high-flying Preston North End last weekend.

Not that ex-Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United man Prutton expects that form to continue at the City Ground.

He has gone for a 1-0 Forest win in his weekly predictions for Sky Sports' EFL coverage, a result that would likely move Lamouchi's men back into the top six, and perhaps even into the automatic promotion spots, if results went their way.

Reds fans will hope Prutton is in better predicting form for their side than he was over the past week, when he backed Forest to win 1-0 at Wigan and 2-1 at home to Hull.

They were ultimately beaten - by those exact same scorelines - in both matches.
