Chelsea have announced that Kenedy will spend the last year of his contract on loan at Getafe.
The Brazilian winger, who will be out of contract at the end of the season, has joined the Spanish side in a temporary deal.
Since joining in 2015, Kenedy has only made only 27 appearances for the Blues and was an unused sub in the first two games of this season.
He had spent the last 18 months on loan at Newcastle United, making 41 appearances under Rafa Benitz, scoring three goals. He previously had a spell at Watford, to boot.
With Kenedy heading out on loan, yet again, it's tough to see him pulling on a Chelsea shirt again for appearance number 28.
Whilst the 23-year-old has time on his side and has shown flashes of ability, his lack of consistency makes it tough to see him ever making the grade at Stamford Bridge.
Certainly, given Frank Lampard's decision to loan him out, rather than assess him over the course of the season, his future seems all-but decided.
Here's a look at what Chelsea fans made of the decision to let him leave the club.
It's fair to say they are few crying into their pillows about this end-of-window deal.
