'Why not?' - former Derby County player dreams of managing Nottingham Forest

Former Nottingham Forest and Derby County midfielder Lars Bohinen says he wants to manage the Reds one day.

Bohenin played for Forest for two years between 1993 and 1995, making 64 league appearances and winning promotion to the Premier League.

Though, he might have slipped a little in the estimation of Reds fans when he later joined Derby after a spell with Blackburn, spending three years with the Rams from 1998-2001.

The Norwegian ended his career back in his home country with Valarenga in 2005.

Nowadays, Bohinen is a coach with Aalesund in the second tier of Norwegian football, but he dreams of a return to the City Ground.

Speaking to VG Report, he said: "Managing Forest. That’s the dream, yes.

"Now I want to be a trainer for as long as I can. I got started late, but nothing is impossible.

"If you are going out of the country, you should preferably have results to show in Europe as well, not just in Norway.

"So, it is probably too soon for a job at Forest. But, in the long run, why not?"
