PATNA: The war of words between the JD(U) and ally BJP leaders in Bihar continued on Sunday. A day after BJP state president Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal raised question over the 'good governance' of CM Nitish Kumar, JD(U) spokesperson and MLC Neeraj Kumar asked why did the Uttar Pradesh government not run its bulldozers over protesting youths after they set a police station in Aligarh on fire? Had the engine of 'bulldozer' failed? he asked.
The JD(U) leader said the BJP leaders should not give logic as per their convenience. "If they are questioning the police inaction in Bihar during the recent attacks on the houses of some BJP leaders by the youths protesting against the Agnipath scheme, why are they silent over similar incidents in the BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. Why are they not asking the UP government to run bulldozer over the protesting youths?" he asked.

Neeraj further said the Centre’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) had the exclusive responsibility to protect the railways properties. “Why are the BJP leaders not raising question over the RPF’s failure to protect the railways properties? What are the responsibilities of the RPF?” he asked.
Reacting over Neeraj’s statement, BJP minister Niraj Kumar Singh ‘Babloo’ said if some people have made up mind to go out of the NDA on one pretext or another, they can go ahead. “No one is stopping them by touching their feet to remain in the alliance,” the minister hit back.
