Why Nina Nesbitt's Leeds gig was stopped 'about 5 times'

Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt didn't have things easy for her gig at The Wardrobe in Leeds on Sunday night (16/04).

Nesbitt will be supporting Jess Glynne for a number of big gigs this summer, yet had to improvise at her own headline show in Leeds.

Her show was stopped 'about 5 times' by a fire alarm, putting a major spanner in the works for her set.

To make matters worse, her microphone was cut off by the alarm, leaving her with no speakers to drown out the alarm.

Luckily she made the most of the situation, and continued to play unplugged despite the regular interruptions - with a little help from her fans.

Some fans were delighted that the impromptu set included Noserings and Shoestrings, and the general consensus was that Nesbitt had succeeded in making the most of a tough situation.

Plenty of fans took to social media to share videos of Nesbitt playing in defiance of the fire alarm - check them out below...
