Why Nat Phillips was annoyed with Andy Robertson after Liverpool beat Porto

Liverpool had just secured their fifth victory from five Champions League games after a 2-0 win over Porto - but Nat Phillips had to deliver a firm message to Andy Robertson.

The centre half left the Reds fans on social media laughing as he commented on a post on Instagram made by Robertson after the win at Anfield last night.

Phillips wasn’t best pleased at Robertson apparently blocking him into his car parking space at Anfield while the left-back was busy congratulating team-mates on the social media platform.

Both Phillips and Robertson had to settle for a place on the bench during Liverpool’s win over the Portuguese side but the Scotland skipper was given a run out in the second half.

While Robertson was taking to Instagram, Phillips commented on his post saying, “Get off Insta and come and move your car.

"You’re blocking me in.”

This is just another indication of the team spirit in the Liverpool dressing room as the players like to have a laugh with each other.

Phillips was thrust into the Liverpool starting XI last season after injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez forced Jurgen Klopp’s hand.

The man from Bolton repaid the Liverpool boss by helping the Reds secure third place and a Champions League spot.
