Moussa Sissoko missed the chance to write his name in Spurs folklore last Sunday as he blazed over the crossbar in the final minute against Arsenal.
Having seen first-half goals from Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane cancelled out by Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Lilywhites had the opportunity to seal their first league win at the Emirates since 2010 in stoppage time.
Had the ball fallen to either Kane or Son Heung-min in the box we may well be talking about a victory, yet Sissoko just couldn't keep his shot down when the ball fell his way.
Goals are one thing that Sissoko just doesn't bring to the team and you have to go back almost two years for his last strike for the Lilywhites.
Quizzing Tanguy Ndombele on his time so far at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a video on the club's Twitter page, Sissoko opened up to his fellow countryman about the one thing he is trying to achieve in N17.
He said: "How was it to score here on your Premier League debut? I'm very jealous of you!
"I've been trying to score for some time, but the moments hasn't arrived yet."
Spurs supporters are absolutely desperate to see the French international end his terrible run in front of goal and hopefully that will happen over the coming months.
Ndombele will also be looking to contribute goals from midfield once he returns from injury after marking his home debut against Aston Villa with the crucial equaliser.
So what did Tanguy think about his curling effort from outside the box on the opening day?
"It was very good, I was very happy," he said. "I didn't really have time to savour the moment because we were 1-0 down.
"But it was good to score in my first league match with my new team."
