Manuel Lanzini and Aaron Cresswell both did not make the West Ham matchday squad to face Spurs in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon after returning to training.
Football.London understands that the duo simply weren't considered fit enough for the 18 after adductor and knee injuries respectively. Both trained this week at Rush Green but didn't make the final cut.
Another player who was injured but returned to training did make the squad, Javier Hernandez, who was back in the 18 after missing the 2-2 draw with Leicester City after picking up an ear infection.

Lanzini was taken off in the second half of the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United earlier this month with an adductor problem and has now missed the last three games. Cresswell also missed that United defeat with a knee problem and has subsequently missed the following two games as well.
Arthur Masuaku has performed admirably in place of Cresswell and has kept his place in the back four in north London as Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop are reunited at centre back for the first time since the 2-0 defeat to Watford on December 22.
