Why Man Utd fans are convinced Jadon Sancho's summer transfer is back on

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils were reportedly ready to splash £100m for the Borussia Dortmund wonderkid to lead their summer rebuild under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Their failure to qualify for the Champions League appeared to have scuppered the potential move - but Manchester United fans are now convinced the move is back on.

The Bundesliga giants had a huge day on Wednesday as they announced the signings of wingers Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt - sparking speculation it could point to England ace Sancho being on his way out this summer.

And United fans certainly took their spending spree as a sign the England winger could be en route out of Germany - potentially heading for Old Trafford - during the transfer window.

"I have a feeling they're preparing for Sancho to leave," one fan wrote as they announced the capture of Liverpool target Brandt was confirmed.

"Did anyone ask Sancho if he's OK with Brandt and Hazard signing?" another wrote.

Others questioned if it meant "Sancho leaving", with others commenting it "seems like Sancho is on his way out" as they face trying to fit huge names into their side.

One fan listed their array of attacking options, stating: "Sancho won't start regularly, come to Utd now", whilst another declared: "Looks like Sancho is off then".

Sancho is considered one of the hottest prospects in European football having bagged 12 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this term.

The former Manchester City youth product is admired by Manchester United chiefs keen to bring him back to the Premier League.

But Real Madrid has also been touted as a possible landing spot for Sancho - if Dortmund's minimum £100m asking price can be met for the 19-year-old.

United appear to have turned their attentions elsewhere with a fee of around £15m agreed for Swansea winger Daniel James, but Dortmund's latest dealings directly impacting Sancho could change things.
