Why Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp will 'probably' watch Man City vs Cardiff

Jurgen Klopp said he will "probably" watch the football tonight - but not to see Manchester City in action.

The Blues can return to the How Man City should line-up against Cardiff City with just six games remaining if they can beat Cardiff at the Etihad, who have been priced at a whopping 80/1 to upset the reigning champions.

Pep Guardiola watched Liverpool's game with Tottenham on Sunday with an eye on both teams , but his counterpart only has eyes for the Bluebirds.

Cardiff host Liverpool on April 21, three days before City finally catch up on games played with a Manchester derby at Old Trafford.

Neil Warnock has not given his strugglers much of a chance tonight, but sees more hope in a finish that includes matches with Liverpool and United. "We've got Manchester City and then six winnable games," he said ahead of tonight's fixture.

Klopp may yet get a better offer, but said this afternoon that he would likely tune in for a scouting mission.

"I will probably watch it," he said . "Because we play Cardiff in a few weeks, not because of City."
