Why Liverpool fans loved moment John Henry met Jurgen Klopp ahead of Norwich match

Liverpool owner John Henry was in town to see the Reds beat Norwich City 4-1.

The American and his wife Linda Pizzuti watched on as Jurgen Klopp's side got their Premier League campaign off to a winning start.

And Reds fans have been very impressed by a video that has emerged of Henry and Klopp meeting inside Anfield ahead of the game on Friday night.

Henry can be seen appearing to wait for Klopp to emerge from a room so he can greet the manager.

When Klopp opens the door and walks out, Henry calls out "Boss!" to attract his attention before the pair shake hands and embrace.

Supporters saluted the "mutual respect" on show in the footage from Liverpool's 'Inside Anfield' tunnel cam video.

Here is a selection of reaction from Reds on Twitter:

Just before kick off on Friday evening, FSG's Henry posted a picture of the Kop and the European Cup mosaic.

Linda Pizzuti also took to Twitter after the final whistle with a positive message following the victory.

She posted: "Liverpool starts the new season with a 4-1 win. Anfield was resplendent, with just a subtle reference to our recent glory. #6times"
