Why Leicester City could have a major impact on Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs' top four race

The end of season run-in is always an exciting and sometimes a nervous times for football fans, especially if their own team still have something to fight for.

They could be going for a league title, fighting for a European place or trying to stave off relegation. The fact is is at this stage of the season, every game and every point takes up slightly more significance for teams who have something to play for.

What Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has said about Unai Emery and Arsenal

With three games left to play, there is one club whose fixtures mean that they could have a major say in the final standings towards the top of the table.

Leicester City face Arsenal at home on Sunday, with the Gunners looking to break back into the top four.

After that, the Foxes travel to the Etihad Stadium to play title chasing Manchester City, before their last game of the season sees them host Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.

And Leicester don't have a bad record when facing sides in the top six this season. In the reverse fixtures, they picked up six of a possible nine points - beating Manchester City on boxing day, and being the only team to take three points from Stamford Bridge so far this term. The only loss came against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in October.

If they manage to repeat, or even better that return this time around, then the races will become even more interesting than they already are.

It's not like the Foxes have nothing to play for themselves either. Brendan Rodgers' team still harbour ambitions of finishing in seventh position, giving them a possibility of European football next season.
